Italian Nebbiolo grape juice yields a full bodied wine with high acidity and firm tannin, over a sensory profile of cherry, raspberry, rose petal, tobacco and tar. Aromas can include red rose petal, violet, tar, truffle and tobacco smoke.

The grape originates in the famous Piedmont region of Italy, birthplace of Barolo and Barbaresco. Despite its intense tannic structure, the juice carries a translucent, lighter color.

Bottle aging potential is exceptional, and time softens that firm structure into a velvety finish.

Barbera is a common blending partner, adding vibrant red fruit flavors, deep color and extra acidity to balance the structure of Nebbiolo.
