California Muscat White Grape Juice, 6 Gallon Pail
California Muscat grape juice produces wines with floral aromatics and fresh tropical or citrus fruit notes. Flavors and aromas can be described as Mandarin orange, orange zest, honey, lychee, peach skin and sweet rose.
Its structure is medium bodied with low to moderate acidity and generally low to no tannin.
It is highly versatile and can make sweet, sparkling or fortified dessert wines. Though traditionally finished with residual sugar for a sweet Moscato or dessert style wine, it can also be fermented completely dry, creating a highly complex, aromatic and lively white wine.
Muscat is also widely used as a blending agent to lift drier, neutral white wines. Some home winemakers blend Muscat with Alicante to improve color, body and structural depth.
