California Mixed Black grape juice is a blend of various red grape varieties. The exact composition varies but generally consists of Zinfandel, Alicante Bouschet, Petite Sirah, Carignane and Grenache.

This juice produces wine with a bold, dark purple color. Flavors can be of blackberry and plum with strong tannin.
