California Johannisberg Riesling grape juice produces aromatic, highly adaptable white wines known for crisp structure and expressive fruit and floral notes.

Strong aromatics can consist of honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom. Fruit accents can include green apple, citrus zest and white peach.

Johannisberg Riesling can be used to make dry, semi sweet, sweet and sparkling white wines. Halt fermentation early or back sweeten for a traditional German style off dry wine, or let it ferment completely dry for a refreshing summer white with excellent aging potential.

It has high acidity and is typically light to medium in body with a vibrant, refreshing mouthfeel. It is traditionally kept completely unoaked to preserve the pristine fruit clarity.
